Tool trolley cart ideal for having everything at your fingertips
There is an ideal tool trolley cart for your workshop and it should at least have these features: read below to find out more.
Have all the tool trolley carts you've seen seem unprofessional? Unstable, wheels that jam, inconvenient drawers, useless top? Perhaps a brief outline of the ideal tool trolley cart could help.
Capacity, space variety, castor wheels and brakes, scratch-proof and wear-proof surfaces, drawer closing systems, tops with edge guards: this is how to recognise a quality tool trolley cart.
Ideal tool trolley cart features
A tool trolley cart should help you, not hinder you; it should be durable and require little maintenance.
This is why it should:
- Have a solid sheet metal frame, finished to withstand scratches, knocks and accidental acid or oil spills.
- It should require minimal maintenance and be easy to clean with the most common detergents to speed up daily work.
- It should have differently sized drawers to contain various items – nuts and bolts, wrenches and clamps, laboratory tools, heat guns, measurement tools plugs, cables, etc.
- It should rest on 4 stable wheels which fluidly flow for easy movement from the workbench to the vehicle maintenance station. Wheels should be equipped with brakes to safely lock the cart in position.
- The top should be level and ample enough to easily hold items such as tool boxes or small tools; if equipped with edge guards, it prevents items from accidentally falling.
The DEA range: classic and new specific tool trolley cart models
A DEA tool trolley cart is the combination of ideal features: the frame is fully welded sheet metal painted with epoxy powder; the ergonomic extruded aluminium handles are chrome-plated and polished to guarantee durability with a built-in key lock; the 4 castor wheels are reinforced and 2 are equipped with brakes; each drawer can hold from 30 to 100 kg based on the model, thanks to the HD guides. The top is enhanced by edge guards to prevent items from falling.
Starting from these shared features we developed three product lines: the 90 line, the 110 line and the 200 line.
90 line
It includes all 90 cm high tool trolley carts, varying in width, number of drawers and, in come cases, function.
- Single carts with 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 drawers
- One and a half module carts with 5 or 6 drawers
- Tool trolleys with different lengths, fully open or with back
110 line
The 110 line is made up of 110 cm high tool trolley carts:
- Single carts with 6, 7 or 8 drawers
- One and a half module carts with 6 or 7 drawers
- Tool trolleys with different lengths, fully open or closed at the back
200 line
This is the line specific to workshops that need to stock a significant number of spare parts, even large sized, in their warehouses. In fact, the line includes a 2 metre high tool trolley with 3 shelves lined with scratch-proof ABS that can be adjusted to height and a closed back frame.
