A premium workshop in the heart of Indonesia In Jakarta, Indonesia, the MINI project was developed around a clear vision of what a modern workshop can be: a technical space designed to support after-sales operations while also enhancing the customer experience. The environment is clean, carefully finished and designed to reflect the high standards of quality associated with the brand. The operational areas are open and visible through the large windows, in a setting where customers can  see first-hand the care and attention dedicated to their vehicles.   ## A workshop designed to be seen In a service area, functionality remains essential. Workstations must support the technical team, facilitate efficient operations and adapt to the workshop's operational requirements. In the MINI Jakarta project, the environment is also designed for those observing the service from outside. The workshop area occupies an important part of the building and is immediately visible to customers as soon as they arrive in the parking area. At the entrance, the reception welcomes customers into a carefully designed environment. Behind the desks, the glass walls open the view onto the areas dedicated to servicing and maintenance. In this way, the workshop is not hidden, but becomes part of the service experience. The first area customers perceive when they arrive is therefore the workshop itself. This creates a more direct relationship between the technical space, the service and the identity of the brand. The workshop becomes a space to be seen, as well as a place where servicing and maintenance activities are carried out.   ## The quality of the space as part of the service experience For an Automotive brand, after-sales service plays a key role in the relationship with the customer. It is  an opportunity to demonstrate that the quality associated with the brand extends beyond the initial purchase. Order, cleanliness and care for the environment help build trust. When customers leave their vehicle with the service team, the space in which this happens communicates attention, method and reliability. In the case of MINI Jakarta, the perceived quality of the workshop is an integral part of the project. This aspect also emerged in the relationship with the DEA team, who were welcomed with a traditional Indonesian sweet, good coffee and a personalised message from the local team. The same attention can be found in the way the workshop is presented and experienced.
