This is how a Company designs set ups for the Automotive field and industrial furnishings: over the years, the company’s growth exceeds expectations and the value of the business is confirmed by the collaboration with major brands: Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, Volvo, Stellantis, Renault and Citroen.
The realization by DEA of a new production plant confirms the success of the business.
DEA Italian Worklab presents itself as a “complete” partner to the market of the design and the supply of Automotive and Industrial set ups.
What is behind its value? There are several elements that distinguish this outstanding excellence of Emilia area: from the tailor-made solutions to meet the market’s different needs, to the quality of Made in Italy materials, up to the consulting approach that goes beyond the sales phase.
During these years of collaborations with the most important Car Manufacturers worldwide, DEA has always applied its winning “modus operandi”: the four-hands study, along with the customer, of the area to be set up, the analysis of the operational needs, the requirements of the technicians, the definition of a compliant and ad hoc project and, finally, the production of approved furniture solutions.
That last point in particular has been the subject of a recent innovation, which has allowed the Company to bring the business to the lean production model, while maintaining the quality level of production.
In 2022, the DEA+RO&Co s.p.A Group started its production plant in Bellocchi, Fano, internalising production completely.
The decision to create a new production site where to channel 100% of the activities is closely linked to the desire to maintain full control of production, always ensuring the highest quality of work.
The long-term goal, in fact, is the maintenance of the competitive advantage on the market, thanks to the premium features of the proposed solutions and the exclusive business approach.
Within the factory of Bellocchi, in Fano’s province, are realized all the steps of production:
The collaboration with Prima Power - Business Unit of the Prima Industrie Group, which plays a leading role in the production of sheet metal processing technologies, has been important In order to maintain DEA high operating standards.
Further an initial evaluation of DEA finishes and configurations, Prima Power suggested the solutions that best met DEA’s need in way to guarantee excellence both in terms of quality and production.
From a first forecast of the production start-up to at least 9 months from the supply of the plant, DEA has surprised everyone arriving to start production in just 6 months. DEA Technicians contributed to this result, showing great proactivity and interest in learning and training sessions.
The launch of a plant rich in cutting-edge technologies and automation systems has allowed DEA to conquer full autonomy, with excellent benefits in terms of optimization of time, costs, and resources.
Here are some examples: thanks to the panelling process it is possible to folder in automated cycles that, otherwise, should be carried out with a manual press brake. The production of cut and bent components with a combined laser and punching solution improves the quality of the cut, avoiding burrs, nibbling marks or sharp corners. The engraving procedure is also conducted accurately and directly online.
The entire productivity is balanced thanks to intelligent systems, able to prioritize activities based on different urgencies, timing and prerogatives.
The incredible potential of the machines installed within the plant allows to manage any project and cope with an oscillation in demand, from production peaks to the small batches production.
Moreover, the integration of elements 4.0, which has turned the production plant into an intelligent Factory: all semi-finished products and finished products are monitored by the MES in order to ensure complete product traceability: this is an added value particularly appreciated by the Automotive customers. The machines connected to the management system transmit production data in real time, with the aim of optimizing production cycles, improving the commissioning of the machinery, standardize machining parameters and schedule maintenance work at the most appropriate times.
The rapid start-up of the Bellocchi production plant has shown how the skills and know-how can lead to incredible results.
The future is still to be written, but we can already see how the potential of the plant still reserves many margins for growth.
